FLORA
A node-based AI canvas for images, video, audio and 3D — 400+ models, dollar-based pricing and an MCP server you can drive from Claude.
What I love
- + Hundreds of models on one canvas — GPT Image, Nano Banana, Flux, Seedream, Kling, Veo, Runway
- + Transparent dollar pricing at each model's API rate; failed generations are free
- + Official MCP server and skills — generate straight from Claude or Claude Code
- + Nodes, Techniques and Custom Actions for repeatable series
- + FAUNA agent in the canvas, and chatting with it is free
What bugs me
- − The free plan (~$2.50/month) is only a taster
- − Video burns through the budget fast
- − The node UI has a learning curve — overkill for a single image
- − Error messages can be unhelpful
Pricing
Free (~$2.50 usage) / Starter $18/mo / Pro $50/mo / Max $200/mo (per seat, usage included)
Try FLORAWhat FLORA is
FLORA is an infinite canvas where you chain AI generation into workflows. Text, image, video, audio and 3D are nodes, and one node's output becomes the next one's input. Instead of six subscriptions you get one place where you switch models per task.
It's built for designers, agencies, e-commerce and brand teams — customers include Pentagram, Alibaba and Lionsgate.
How I tested it
I drove FLORA through its official MCP server straight from Claude: 2 prompts × 4 models, including a Czech poster full of diacritics. The whole test cost $0.41 and took under a minute. Full results and comparison grids are in FLORA AI: tested through Claude.
In short:
- Czech diacritics: only GPT Image 2.5 Flare and Nano Banana 2 got them right. Flux 2 Pro and Seedream 5.0 Lite mangle the accents.
- Product photo: Nano Banana 2 was best, Flux added an extra glowing key, GPT Image invented props nobody asked for.
Key features
- Techniques — saved multi-step workflows running as one node (background swap, relight, upscale)
- Custom Actions — describe a tool in words and FLORA turns it into a node
- Elements — references for characters, products and styles
- LoRA training for Flux 2 and Krea 2 (since September 2026)
- Timeline editor, an audio node with ElevenLabs, 3D with GLB/USDZ export
- MCP, API and CLI — FLORA from Claude, Cursor or your own script
Pricing
Since May 2026 there are no credits: you pay dollars at each model's API rate, and each plan includes the same amount as generation budget. For reference from my test: Flux 2 Pro $0.036, Seedream 5.0 Lite $0.042, GPT Image 2.5 Flare $0.055, Nano Banana 2 $0.072 per image. Video is an order of magnitude pricier — Veo 3.1 costs over $3.80 per generation.
Verdict
4/5. For teams producing series who want models, workflows and references in one place, FLORA is the most thought-through option right now — and its MCP integration with Claude is the best I've seen from a creative tool. One point off for the tiny free plan, unpredictable video costs, and a UI that overcomplicates one-off images.
